SCHEFFER DOLORES DEE Formerly of Upper St. Clair, PA, and more recently Colfax, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, after a long illness. Born April 16, 1932, in Indianapolis, IN, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Karl Scheffer. She is survived by her son, Jeff Scheffer and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Susan Holland; and five grandchildren, Kate, Allison, Annie, John, and Alexandra. Dee attended Butler and Indiana universities and was a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Indiana University basketball. She was smart, witty and truly something of a character. Friends are welcome at the BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA (724-941-3211), on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Services and interment on Monday, May 19, 2014, will be private.
