ABEL ALICE RENDERS Returned to her Lord, peacefully on May 1, 2014, at the age of 68, in Beaumont, TX. She was born on March 2, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Alice Sperling McElligott and James J. McElligott. Alice retired from U.S. Steel and chemical division marketing. Alice is survived by her husband, Clay Abel; daughters, Heather Marie Renders and Dana Abel Totzke; son, Martin Abel; grandson, Justin Abel; great-grandson, Jaeryth Abel; and the Janet Notaro family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and by two special surrogate families, Walter and Peg Sperling and Leo and Maime Heuler. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Twp.
