HALE LELAND ALEXANDER, Jr. Major Leland Alexander Hale, Jr., U.S. Air Force retired, died April 1, 2014, in Houston, Texas. He was a regular U.S. Air Force Officer with 24 years of active service. Major Hale was born in Dormont, Pennsylvania, and has been a resident of Houston, Texas since 1963. He is survived by his brother, Calvin C. Hale; also several nephews and nieces. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University. Major Hale was cremated and the remains are to be placed in his Mother's grave in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Mt. Lebanon, PA.
