WOLLAM BETTE JANE (McCORMICK - WACHENHEIMER) 89, of Coraopolis, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her recent Tucson, AZ home. Born June 10, 1924, near Uniontown, to Thomas and Alice Mae (Jaynes) McCormick; widow to M. Edward Wollam of Columbus, OH; sister of Elaine (Burton), Evelyn (Fisher), Ruth Ann (Thomas) and brothers, Thomas and William McCormick (all deceased); she is survived by her beloved three grandchildren; daughter, Kimberly Wachenheimer of Spring, TX; son, André Wachenheimer (Margaret) of Tucson, AZ; and brothers, Charles McCormick of Brentwood and Richard McCormick of Chandler, AZ. All adored and cherished her gentle, kind spirit that beamed with smiles, made laughter, and championed others well being before hers. Her career as a model let her to be named Miss Pittsburgh, but being a mother and homemaker was her most loved vocation. Visitation at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave., 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 19 and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, followed by a service and then burial at Coraopolis Cemetery.
