COX WILLIAM A. Age 86, of Avalon, passed away on April 17, 2014, in Passavant Hospital of the North Hills. He was born in Imperial on July 2, 1927, the son of the late Charles and Jennie (Bergern) Cox. Mr. Cox was the beloved husband of Helen (Domenick) Cox, who passed away on April 14, 2013. He was a retired security guard for the Allied Co., a member of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Imperial, and a WWll Air Force veteran. Surviving are one daughter, Deborah C. (David P.) Hoerster of Texas; two grandsons, David (Meghan) Hoerster and Douglas (Jennifer) Hoerster; and four great- grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Shirleen Arnold; and a brother, Richard A. Cox. William was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Friends will be received on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the THOMAS - LITTLE FUNERAL SERVICE, INC., 305 Main St., Imperial, PA 15126, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 12 Noon.
