KURPIEWSKI BERNARD J. Of Braddock, age 73, on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Sophia (Ludwicki) Kurpecky, and his brothers, Richard and David Kurpecky. He is survived by his aunts, Margaret "Midge" Kurpiewski, Frances DiLucente and Ann Kurpiewski, and his uncle, Chester Ludwicki. Bernie was a US Navy veteran and a retired bookkeeper from USSteel, Homestead Works. He was a published poet and won several awards for his poetry, including an award from the National Library of Poetry. Friends welcome Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at PATRICK T.
