DANIELS LILLIAN BRANDT Age 92, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Daughter of the late Senator Herman P. and Allie (Heid) Brandt; beloved wife for 62 years of the late Arnold R. Daniels. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah D. Webster of New York, NY; and a son, Peter B. Daniels of Rowayton, CT; sister of the late Paul W. Brandt, H. Carl Pete Brandt, Richard S. Brandt, and Elizabeth Atkinson. She was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Penn State University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Lillian worked for the Pittsburgh Post- Gazette and was the Director of Special Events for the Joseph Horne Co. She was a member of the Women's Press Club of Pittsburgh, Highland Country Club, and Hiland Presbyterian Church, and was listed in Who's Who of American Women. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Hiland Presbyterian Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-364-4444.
