GIAMPOLO IRMA SCENNA Age 94, of Oakland, passed away peacefully at Schenley Gardens on Monday, March 24, 2014, under the compassionate care of Gateway Hospice. She was born on December 2, 1919, daughter of the late Venanzo and Maria (Ferzoco). She was raised in Greenfield and graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in 1938. Devoted wife of Carl "Gimp" for 71 years. She is survived by her children, Carlino, Carol (Regis Speck) and Gary; two grandchildren, Gary and Lorraine; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Dante. "In every gesture dignity and love," were words written about her in the 1938 Taylor Allderdice yearbook. She lived those words every day of her life. That was her grace.
