BOFFO THOMAS LEON Thom Boffo, age 67, died on March 12, 2014, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He resided in Bridgewater with his wife, Wendy, and son, Max. Thom is also survived by his brother, Gary Boffo and wife, Cherie, in Ohio; his sister, Ellen Boffo and partner, Steve O'Neil, in California; and his brother, Jim and wife, Diane, in Rochester, PA; his niece and nephews are Whitney Boffo of Ben Avon, Rob Jackson and Chris Jackson of Beaver. Thom was president and CEO of Pittsburgh Tubular Shafting, Inc. in Rochester for the last 14 years. He had been employed there for over 30 years. Prior to PTS, Thom worked with his brothers at Boffo Motors, Inc. in New Brighton. He was a past president of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Beaver Valley Montessori School. Thom will no doubt be remembered, from years passed, for his passionate involvement with performance vehicles, most infamously, in the 1970s for his AC Cobra. Thom's family is asking for the company of Thom's friends, from the past and present, at his Memorial gathering and service.
