GAHAGEN REV. KATHLEEN ERIN The Rev. Kathleen Erin Gahagen, 44, pastor for 17 years of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, N. Tonawanda, NY, died February 28, 2014, in Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, after a lifelong valiant battle with cystic fibrosis. Known as Pastor Keg to her parishioners, she preached in her bare feet and always began her Sunday sermons with a joke. Born in Pittsburgh, Kathleen grew up in Cleveland. She was a graduate of Regina High School in South Euclid, Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree from Wittenberg College. She received her divinity degree from Philadelphia Theological Seminary. She leaves behind to celebrate her life and achievements her husband, George Faust; her mother, Anne Pearce Zielinski; her father, Rev. Robert Gahagen; a brother, Rev. Patrick Gahagen; sisters, Mariah Zielinski-Scott and Kanita Kimmons-Ducloux; grandmother, Mary Gahagen; aunts, Betsy Pearce Stevick and Gail Gahagen; and so many who were all family to her and who admired and loved her.
