KRAUS JEANNETTE F. Age 76, of Elizabeth, died March 6, 2014, at K & R Caring Hands. Born November 17, 1937, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Edna P. (Kyne) Brooks and the wife of John G. Kraus. Jeannette was a homemaker, always caring for her family, and also found time to work at Consolidated Candy Company and she was Owner of White Oak Laundry and Cleaning, in her early years. She enjoyed cooking and loved vacations in Florida and taking cruises. Jeannette always loved going to church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Robert (Jody) Brieck of North Dakota, Donald (Jean) Brieck of Lincoln Borough, Daniel (Irene) Brieck of Buena Vista and Randy (Terry) Brieck of Florida; grandchildren, Melissa, Donald, Daniel, Jr., Georgia, and Angela; brothers, Leon (Courtney) Brooks of North Huntingdon, Dewayne (Bebe) Brooks of McKeesport, Ronald (Sandra) Brooks of McKeesport; sister, Joan (Rudolph) Leonardo of Maryland; nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at WILLIG FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES on Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be Monday, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
