BLANK PHILIP J. PINATCH Age 88, of Sharpsburg, on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Loving brother of Helen Meyer, Rose Daniels (Alex), and Edward J. Blank; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Philip was a WWII U.S. Army Infantry Veteran and was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. Friends received WEDNESDAY 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 820 Main St., Sharpsburg, where services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m., with full military honors, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
