STEINMETZ HENRY J. HANK, Jr. 70, of Brook Park, OH, formerly of Bethel Park, died Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Holy Family Home in Parma, OH. He was born May 7, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Herscoe Steinmetz. Mr. Steinmetz was retired as an accountant with the former Massey Buick in Dormont. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Surviving are his daughter, Dawn Broadway and her husband, Dennis of Parma, OH; a stepson, Stephen Columbus of Clarksville; and a granddaughter, Sara Pearl Broadway. Deceased is wife, Catherine "Kay" VanVoorhis Steinmetz, who died in March, 2013. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, in Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Finleyville, with Reverend Robert J. Boyle as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery with full military honors accorded by Mon Valley Honor Guard.
