MESSNER PAUL A. 72, of Palm Harbor, Florida, formerly of McKeesport and Mt. Lebanon, PA, passed away early Monday, February 10, 2014. A graduate of McKeesport High School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas and Cecilia Messner of McKeesport. Paul had retired to Florida following a career as a manufacturers' representative. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cathy Cullen Messner; two daughters, Stacy Schroer and Casey Gosling; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and brother, Robert T. Messner of Pittsburgh. Paul enjoyed traveling, reading, history, and lighthouses, but most of all, his family, who were with him in his last days. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Palm Harbor at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014.
