CHAPMAN CORA A. Born November 23, 1906, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the age of 107. Daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth and Rev. Charles Henry Wooding; beloved wife of the late William Arthur Chapman, Sr.; loving mother of Rev. William Arthur Chapman, Jr. (Inez), Joseph Curry Chapman (Virginia), Doris Chapman-Bailey, Raymond Chapman, and Percy Chapman, Sr. (Janice); daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Chapman; wife of the late Armond Basil. Preceded in death by her two other children, Robert (Tony) and Sadie Turner; also survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Wax and Virley Dickerson (Joseph, Sr.) of Pittsburgh. She was a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She had a host of nieces, nephews, and friends too many to mention.
