HICKMAN ALMA VIRGINIA (OLINGER) Age 82, on December 11, 2013, peacefully, went to join her husband, George; parents, Almos and Grace (Rising) Olinger; siblings, Charles, Paul, Grace McKeever, and Eva Moore; survived by daughters, Vera Birmingham, Louise (Dave) DiDomenico and Edna Buzza; as well as grandchildren, Nicholas and Daniel Birmingham, Angela and David DiDomenico, Lisa Elzer, and Dylan Stone; her sister, Marianne Leiby of Arvada, CO. Alma enjoyed taking photos, swimming, driving, and shopping. She was active in the Republican Party for many years and a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Beechview. Her kind and gentle spirit was loved by everyone she met. She will be remembered for her strength, determination, service, and generosity. Wish her Godspeed and celebrate her home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Trinity are suggested. The family respectfully requests guests to refrain from wearing perfumes or any fragrances.
