SPLANE JOHN F. BUZZ Age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013. Beloved husband of 65 years to Regina Tootie (Misklow); loving and devoted father to Kathleen, James Mickey, Mary Anne and her husband Dave Zuk. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Mary McLaughlin. He is survived by his niece, Mary T. Burke; and her son and daughter, Sean and Cathy of Denver, CO. John served in the United States Navy for two years in the Pacific during WWII. He retired as Captain after 35 years of service in the Pittsburgh Fire Department. He was devoted to his family and faith, he enjoyed playing golf and his monthly breakfasts with his buddies. Buzz is going to be missed deeply by all that knew and loved him. Friends received Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 11 a.m. at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh., PA 15220.
