ELSESSER ROBERT “BOB” “ALKEY” Passed unexpectedly and peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at A.G.H. Born May 2, 1939 to the late Walter and Elizabeth (Pribik) Elsesser. Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Diane “DeeDee” (Hayes) Elsesser; he is the loving and caring father of Robert “Bobby” (Andrea) Elsesser of Brownsville, John “Jack” (Barbara) Elsesser of Allison Park, Kelly A. (Ken) Kennedy of Allison Park, and Brian Elsesser of Saxonburg; adored grandfather of Joshua (Rhonda) Elsesser of N.S., Zachary Elsesser and Abigail and Kaleb Kennedy of Allison Park, also Trey Elsesser of Saxonburg; very proud great-grandfather of Brooklyn; dear brother of Walter Elsesser, Anthony “Tony” (Dorothy) Elsesser, Delores Bender, Mary (John) Steipeitch, Edna “Dolly” DeWoehrel, also the late John “Jack”, Joseph, Elizabeth “Betty” Badamo. Bob was past B.A. of Painters Local #6 and Superintendent of Steel City Painting. His great joys in life was the countless hours and days working and tending to “the farm” in Sandy Lake, PA with late horses, Misty and Thunder. He complained about the work but wouldn't have it any other way. His courage led him to the boxing ring and teaching a gorilla a lesson. He won all of his other fights. Bob's love and care and generosity will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will never be forgotten. Visitation Wednesday only 1-7 p.m. at STEPHEN M. BRADY FUNERAL HOME, 920 Cedar Ave., (across from A.G.H.). Funeral Blessing 7:30 p.m. Family suggests memorials to Wild Mustangs Foundation at www.savethewildmustangs.com.
