CLANCY LOLA (LEWIS) 91, a long-time resident of Neville Island, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lexington, NE on May 20, 1922 to the late Guy and Hazel (Zollar) Lewis. On August 24, 2006, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband for 60 years, John V. Clancy. Loving mother of Lee Thomas (Richard) of Coraopolis, Jean E. Moore, Peggy Clancy, both of Neville Island, Michael Clancy (Ruth Ann) of Shippingport, Tom Clancy of Neville Island and the late John V. Clancy, Jr.; cherished grandmother of eight and great- grandmother of 14; sister of Lavawn Mallick of Hopewell; and her beloved dog, Bailey. Lola enjoyed life. She rode bicycles, kayaked, played the organ, piloted a pontoon sea plane and will be fondly remembered as the Nanny who drove around in her Chrysler Sebring convertible. Services were private at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to Neville Green, 7204 Front River Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15225 or Neville Island Volunteer Fire Department, 5300 Grand Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15225.
