ARMBRUSTER PAUL C. Of Decatur, GA, made his transition on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, from complications following heart surgery. Paul was born in 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA. While attending college, Paul worked for two summers at The Odd Chair Playhouse and as a cabaret performer for Pittsburgh legend, Don Brockett, before graduating from Clarion State College in 1970. He worked briefly as a school teacher, then as a traveling musician from 1972-1977. Paul moved to Los Angeles in 1978 and began to pursue a career in Voice Acting. He achieved much success in Los Angeles before moving to the Atlanta area in 1987 to continue his career, which also included acting in front of the camera in several national television productions. In Atlanta, he became a much sought after voice talent and enjoyed the most productive years of his career. He began teaching his signature, comprehensive voice-over workshop in 1989 and is credited with helping to develop the careers of countless successful voice-over artists. Music always remained a part of his life as he took his singing, guitar and bass playing skills into music ministry. For the past 21 years, he worked as a musician at The Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church in Atlanta. Paul was honored at a Memorial Mass at The Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A reception followed at the church. Paul is survived by his son, Darren Horejsi; his brother, Thomas Armbruster; sister-in-law, Nancy; and his niece, Jane. Paul was a wonderful man who touched many lives during his all too brief life.
