IVILL GEORGE E. Age 88, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013. Beloved husband of Cecilia; beloved father of Patricia and George K.; also survived by granddaughter, Alyson Dehner; and great-grandchildren, Vaughn and Violet Dehner. He was awarded the Purple Heart for his service to our country in WWII, and retired at the age of 55 as a Captain of the O'Hara Police Department, where his nickname was "Evil Ivill" a kind joke to everyone who knew his kind ways. He loved to sing "The Bells are Ringing" by Gene Kelly and Judy Garland. He would always say "you're lookin' good" even though we were on the phone, and another question often asked, "Who loves ya baby?" We all knew. I love you Pap. Send condolences at post-gazette.com/gb
