CROWE JOSEPH R. On Sunday, September 22, 2013, age 65, of Seven Fields, formerly of Ross Twp. Husband of Sherry Peck Crowe, who he married on August 1, 1970; father of Cassandra L. "Casey" Chapman and her husband, Shawn of Cranberry Twp., and Todd J. Crowe of Asheville, N.C.; pappy of Mason James (six) and Morgan Eric (four) Chapman; brother of Margaret "Peggy" Lesch of Coral Springs, FL, Lisa Crowe in Pittsburgh and the late Richard Crowe; uncle of Heather and Dustin Lesch. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Ralph and Vivian Wolfe Crowe. He was a negotiator for the Procurement Department of Bayer Corporation. Joseph served as a Sgt. in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had been a member of the Bloomfield V.F.W. Post 278. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed going to casinos, and he and his wife travelled all over the world and they collected magnets from everywhere they went. He loved playing games, watching Sponge Bob and playing "the Claw" with his grandkids. Friends will be received at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, PA on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Ralph Bachner of St. Kilian Church officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
