FINNEGAN JANE NEELY Age 91, of Melbourne, FL, died September 15, 2013. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1921 to Gordon and Carolyn Schafer, educated as a Registered Nurse, and married to her high school sweetheart. Jane was a nurse and nursing supervisor at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA before retiring to Melbourne, FL in 1983 to play golf and enjoy the sunshine. Jane was preceded in death by her husbands, Karl W. Neely and Thomas H. Finnegan. She is survived by her four sons, Richard W. and Robert K. Neely of Pittsburgh, and William G. and David K. Neely of Florida; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She also had four stepchildren, Thomas and Larry Finnegan, Janice Clark and Peggy Williamson; ten step-grandchildren; and 15 step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Jane's long and full life will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Melbourne, FL on October 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. The interment will be in Pittsburgh.
