MILLER RUTH ANN Age 84 , formerly of Wexford , passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Farrand Michael Miller; loving mother of Michael, Christopher (Althea), Timothy (Christine) Miller, and Kathleen (Tom) Valenty; cherished grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of six; also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank H. and Josephine Jackson; and brothers, Robert and Richard Jackson. Ruth was a devout Catholic and her faith in God guided her in all that she did. She was a founding member of T.R.Y. (Together for Retarded Youth), and taught special education religious education at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wexford, PA for 25 years. Friends received Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10418 Perry Hwy., Wexford. Funeral mass on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, followed by entombment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
